Certu Systems Software Design Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Work with the engineering team to test and develop critical solutions to our software system. Job duties include: Design and development of novel optimization algorithms; development of new products, solutions, and processes; Strive to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs; Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders including potential customers; Automate and simplify current manual business processes; Deliver key business outcomes, in both performance against metrics and gains in efficiency; Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraise new product ideas and/or product changes.
Job Requirements: Master's degree in computer engineering; 72 months of experience in data analysis; Experience with machine learning techniques; Experience in deep learning and time series prediction; Experience with macOS and Linux development environments; Experience with engineering product development full lifecycle; experience with software systems management; experience with Python, Matlab, C++, Pytorch, PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, ORTools, TensorFlow, GDAL, MySQL, Docker and Git.
