Job Description:

This job is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include creating infrastructure tools and their integration as a service, facilitating deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include looking for opportunities to improve efficiency when implementing and maintaining tools/services and embracing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical DMZ network engineer is responsible for DMZ network project designs, supporting DMZ services such as Internet Hosting, Business-to-Business (B2B), Cloud Integration, and Remote Access.

  • The engineer should possess strong Cisco network routing/switching expertise.

  • Engineer will be responsible to support project deliverables including creation of low-level network designs, lab buildouts, certification testing, and solution delivery.

Required Skills:

  • 7-10 years industry experience with technology domain experience, Network design experience with DMZ/Perimeter environments.

  • Must have solid routing, switching experience including Cisco Nexus and Arista with solid understanding of TCP /IP networking including BGP, OSPF, Multicast, QOS, IPSEC, ISAKMP, SCEP, SDN

  • Strong Visio diagramming skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Technology degree or substantial equivalent experience

Desired Skills:

  • Hands on with Arista router/switch platforms

  • Experience with scripting languages. Python experience desirable.

  • Experience integrating solutions with Cloud provider environments such as MS Azure & AWS, and connectivity to cloud hosted SaaS applications such as M365.

  • Knowledge and/or experience with network virtualization and Software-Defined Networking (SDN)
