Description

We are offering a contract opportunity for a Mailroom Assistant in Dallas, Texas. This role primarily involves providing support for office equipment, ensuring optimal service quality, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The individual will also be responsible for coordinating work activities for Office Solutions Specialists and managing supplies for equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage internal control systems and track activity metrics data to meet service level agreement requirements.

• Oversee the ordering and distribution of supplies for equipment, including paper, toner, and staples.

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective written and verbal communication and follow-up actions.

• Assist the team with equipment diagnosis, resolve maintenance and repair issues.

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs or replace equipment components as necessary.

• Maintain a productive and professional relationship with internal and external clients.

• Promote safety practices as outlined in the guidelines.

• Demonstrate competencies associated with assigned equipment.

• Interact with external customers to identify service needs on equipment and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with the service performed.

• Achieve expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and level of experience.

Skillset:

• Proficient in handling Daily Mail and Distributing Incoming Mail

• Ability to maintain Activity Logs

• Experience in performing Clerical Duties and providing Clerical Support.

Requirements • Experience of at least one year in a similar role such as Mailroom Assistant or related position

• Proficiency in using 'Daily Mail' software for managing mailroom operations

• Ability to distribute incoming mail to the appropriate recipients in a timely manner

• Experience in maintaining activity logs to track the mail flow

• Familiarity with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

• Ability to provide clerical support to other departments when required

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
