Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager to join a Fortune 100 client remotely in Mexico. The Project Manager will oversee an on-prem to Azure cloud migration across hundreds of sites within the US and Canada. This individual will be responsible for the execution phase of the migration, managing service provider relationships, handling incident and problem management, track risk metrics, present progress and roadblocks to executive leadership, and work with technical teams for day to day execution task. The project aims to migrate and/or refresh physical servers into the cloud or VMware environment. The ideal individual should have a high level technical understanding of on-premise to cloud migrations to address technical specification questions that arise and communicate the end goal of the project.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years as a project manager with a focus in enterprise level cloud migration projects from an on premise environment to the Azure cloud

• Experience coordinating cross-functionally across the enterprise overseeing on prem to cloud migration projects, managing 3rd party resources, schedules, record-keeping and track operating metrics and KPIs

• Technical knowledge of IaaS and PaaS best practices within the cloud for server migrations to make recommendations for scaling

• Proven leadership/project management skills, excellent verbal and written English communication, and the ability to work cross functionally with global business and technical teams

• Experience managing incident and change management (ServiceNow preferred)

• Experience managing service vendor relationships null
