JPMorgan Chase Risk Management - Product Delivery - Associate in Plano, Texas

As a Product Delivery Associate in the Risk Decision product team at JPMorgan Chase, you will be at the forefront of delivering customer-centric products within the firm's risk appetite. You will use your expertise to anticipate new and emerging risks, and apply your judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers, and communities. You will partner across the business and technology to execute on an ever-evolving product roadmap, leading cross-functional teams with an agile mindset that fosters teamwork and collaboration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Discovery sessions to formalize objective, understand value/ benefit, discuss design (internal/external), create high-level strategy plan and identify cross block dependencies of an initiative. Facilitate Elaboration/Business Requirement reviews (PBR) to finalize strategy requirements and submit any required sponsoring Dependency Sub tasks.

  • Be responsible for EPIC creation/refinement and ongoing management through closure and communication to the business on initiatives including updates and any impediments and will meet regularly with partners to provide these updates via a weekly stand up.

  • Participate in Sprint reviews and planning sessions to ensure intakes are understood and the work is accounted for on the JIRA boards within IT.

  • Support issue management by facilitating meetings with cross block areas to discuss the problem, determine root cause (this may include product providing research support by running queries/reviewing C3) and implement preventative controls for the future.

  • Support and Lead process improvements by working with the product feature teams to introduce changes and any new controls. This would include but not limited to facilitating meetings with cross block areas to discuss the problem/change needed, suggesting/presenting ideas to solve and driving the improvement to implementation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • You have experience with Agile product development previously. You will demonstrate proven skills to be a key contributor in a fast paced environment covering one or more of the Risk Decision Engines.

  • You are able to partner across Risk to help lead the continual build-out of the product roadmap

  • You are able to define product initiatives for new features and enhancements

  • You are able to work collaboratively with business, architecture and technology to ensure a unified product landscape

  • You are able to provide clear vision and scope documentation, workflows, detailed epics/features, use cases and other materials as needed to support design, development and infrastructure

  • To be successful, you are able to build and leverage partnerships across business & IT groups and follow best practices for Agile delivery and reporting.

  • You are able to partner with Technology Project Manager and Development teams and ensure all business deliverables and tasks are completed

  • You are able to create and maintain dashboards/reports, and track initiative metrics

  • You are able to use tools like Jira, Sharepoint, Visio to manage the backlog

  • You have Risk Management or business product management experience

  • You have experience in the following areas: Resource Management; Business Analysis - translate to Requirements; Problem Solving; Conflict Resolution.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in financial services or related industry

  • You have a strong understanding of, or experience working in, an Agile development framework

  • You have experience authoring business requirements, defining user stories and execution, including bringing together cross-functional teams within an Agile development framework

  • You have the ability to execute via successful internal partnerships with other organizations

  • You are adept at influencing peers with diverse points of view and building consensus

  • You are a structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written communication skills

  • You are highly self-motivated with ability to remain composed under pressure and excel during periods of ambiguity
