The Role: As our Head Baker, you will lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering an exceptional menu selection of artisan breads. Your role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for food quality, customer service, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft a variety of artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads using time-honored recipes and techniques.
Demonstrate exceptional skill in the kitchen, from following complex recipes to adding your unique touch to create unparalleled breads.
Manage heavy lifting of ingredients and supplies, often weighing over 50 lbs., and maintain a dynamic work pace.
Navigate through changes with agility and oversee baking operations, including potential overnight shifts during peak seasons.
Who We're Looking For:
A proven maestro in the kitchen with a minimum of 1+ years of large-scale baking or pastry experience (preferred, not required).
A vigilant adherent to food handler and sanitation standards at all regulatory levels.
Someone who values education in baking/pastry arts (a bonus, not a requirement).
Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for this esteemed position.
