South Shore Community Action Council Van Monitor (s) in Plymouth, Massachusetts

South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit working to end poverty on the South Shore - seeks part time and full-time Van Drivers for our Plymouth, South Shore and Attleboro/Taunton routes, state of the art fleet, company provided training. Full-time positions available 20-25 hours per week. All company benefits apply to full-time positions. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Core Duties Assist the driver to ensure safe and efficient transportation for ambulatory and wheelchair bound clients. Assist the driver with the upkeep and cleanliness of the vehicle. Transportation of medically involved clients to a variety of appointments throughout the South Shore, Taunton, Attleboro, and Boston. Monitor is responsible to communicate with dispatch office, and for daily online paperwork and communication with the Transportation Office. Must be competent on computer tablet for driving routes and paperwork. Company vehicles are housed on company premises. Core Qualifications A driver?s license is not a requirement for van monitor role. Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening. Ability to pass a CORI check pre-employment post interview. Excellent communication skills. Flexibility within the program. Minimum Requirements at employment: ? All candidates must undergo a background check where applicable; prior to beginning employment, including pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, post interview, with CORI, SORI. ? Positions open until suitable candidates are found. ? Valid MA state driver?s license, with clean driving record, is not required for the Van Monitor role. ? Must be able to speak and understand English.
