We are looking for a Danaher Material Systems (DMS) Site Lead, to be responsible for improving On Time Delivery to customer though identifying right sized material holding, reduction in material holding to design, and increasing material velocity through the plant. The right candidate will drive their own development and become an expert in the DMS tools available to better educate the team in a busy manufacturing environment.
This position is part of the Supply Chain located in Portsmouth Walton Road and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Champion and Lead Danaher Material Systems (DMS) audits and actions though Inventory management at Gemba (IMAG). Make year on year sustainable improvements to the DMS audit score.
Drive Problem solving Process (PSP) for material activities for Delivery and inventory performance to target with the Supply Chain team to drive customer experience.
Set standard work for material pull systems and dynamic kanban across the site.
Conduct periodic data analysis for material flow and Supply Chain performance. Set the plan for every part across a diverse portfolio of materials.
Coach and support the Supply, Planning and Operations teams through leadership on DMS, leading kaizen events, and driving sustainment.
Who you are:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Supply Chain or, Demonstrated success and 2-3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain / Logistics role.
Able to communicate effectively across all functions and build strong team collaboration.
Analytical and able to use sound data to drive continuous improvement.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
MRP/ ERP systems knowledge, Supply Chain planning. SAP exposure is advantageous.
Excellent IT skills - Excel essential
