    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a partner school that takes pride in excelling as lifelong learners and provides education for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. We are seeking a passionate individual to join our speech therapy team on a part-time basis for the Extended School Year from June ’24 to August ’24. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for developing treatment plans, completing evaluations, and collaborating with parents and other key stakeholders for a caseload K-12th graders of 30 to 40 students.

    Additional responsibilities will include;

  • Provide services and progress reports for 30 to 40 students including direct, small group sessions, and push in utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance communication skills

  • Compile and develop treatment plans to support students

  • Provide training on functional life skills for students approaching graduation

  • Implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and strategies, including communication boards, speech-generating devices, and sign language, as appropriate

  • Collaborate with department by being a part of team meetings with service providers, Special Education teachers, and BCBAs

    Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:

  • School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-12th Graders

  • Must be comfortable with ESY

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists

  • Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
