Cherry Picker Operator
Responsible for operating a cherry picker to pick, move, and place product throughout the warehouse. You must be able to safely and effectively operate the cherry picker, as well as able to perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be safety-minded, have a good sense of balance, and have experience with operating a cherry picker. You must be able to follow instructions and take direction, be reliable and punctual, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Cherry Picker Operator Duties
- Operate a cherry picker to lift, move, and position materials and personnel
- Conduct pre-operation safety checks and ensure safety of personnel at all times
- Load and unload materials from the cherry picker
- Navigate the cherry picker around various obstacles and tight spaces
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on the cherry picker
- Follow safety regulations and procedures
- Pass PLX forklift assessments and virtual Osha Certification process
Cherry Picker Operator Skills
- Operate and maneuver Cherry Picker Equipment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
- Receive instructions from supervisor
- Maintain clean and organized work area
