Microsoft Corporation Principal Product Manager - Enterprise Cloud Team in Prague, Czech Republic

If so, the Enterprise Cloud team is looking for an experienced Product Manager who is obsessed with creating a modern engineering system that focuses on industry leading practices and tools to build and operate autonomous and efficient internet-scale cloud services.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Product Manager for the Enterprise Cloud team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and delivery for core technologies that power the heart of our cloud infrastructure and inventory systems that allows M365 Cloud infrastructure to scale, grow and operate. These technologies and database systems are at the heart of how we build governance for our service compliance, how we do our service buildout at large scale and how we maintain runtime health of our cloud systems.

  • Develop and execute long-term vision and near-term strategic plans across the Microsoft portfolio of products and services in collaboration with product leadership.

  • Understand the broader ecosystem of Microsoft products and where to leverage capabilities and functionalities across the broader ecosystem.

  • Resolve complex alignment issues, contribute to portfolio-level solutions, and drive cross-functional clarity with leadership.

  • Act as subject matter expert including staying abreast of latest industry standards, best practices, regulatory requirements and research in cloud technology to ensure our products and services remain at the forefront of user protection.

  • Partner with Engineering Managers and teams across the company to develop and implement innovative solutions that leverage generative AI to enhance our cloud systems and processes.

  • Mentor and grow a team of talented product managers and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and learning.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND extensive experience in product / service / project / program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Extensive product management experience delivering products and services.

  • Product leadership abilities with demonstrated strategic thinking and vision.

  • Ability to effectively define product and functional specifications with definition of customer value and business impact while understanding the technical aspects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and services like Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or other cloud platform providers.

  • Ability to lead through ambiguity while partnering across .

  • Ability to drive cross-functional teams, partners, and cross-org leadership teams and experience in working across geo distributed teams.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and drive for results.
