Overview USU Eastern in Price, Utah is accepting applications for a full-time Bus Driver position. Candidates must have a Class C license or better, with a passenger endorsement. Utah State University Eastern Motor Pool buses service athletic teams, student activities, and faculty and staff events.

Responsibilities The Bus Driver for this position will be required to drive for various events and must be flexible and willing to be available for not less than 40hrs per week. The person in this position will be required to remain current in all University and CDL/Bus driver training, certifications, and driver regulations. This position will occasionally help in the motor pool with cleaning and minor maintenance and other duties may be assigned. The bus driver will also provide Motor pool duties as needed for the fleet, follow the Program Coordinator's driving schedule, and on occasion, assist with Surplus/Inventory needs.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

• Class C CDL driver's license with passenger endorsement.
• Current CDL Medical Card.
• Two years of driving experience.

• Employment subject to State of Utah Defensive Driving Test completion and Background check. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Professionalism and Excellent Customer Service Skills.

• Be able to identify and report vehicle maintenance issues and have a basic understanding of equipment operations.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel.
• Must have a flexible schedule
