Physician (RICU Partial Nocturnist Hospitalist). Full-time position working for Brown Medicine, 110 Elm Street, Providence, RI, providing inpatient care to patients admitted to the Intensive Care Units at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI and The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. Responsibilities include conducting initial patient assessments and admissions, formulating and implementing treatment plans, scheduling and reviewing clinical and diagnostic tests, providing updates to primary care physicians and family members, conducting multiple rounds as necessary for the acuity of patients’ conditions, coordinating and integrating specialty and subspecialty consultations, coordinating patient transfers to and from the ICU, medical/surgical unit, and or skilled nursing facilities, coordinating discharge planning, and performing administrative duties related to position. Hours are fifteen (15) night/day shifts per month averaging twelve (12) hours per shift.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of a U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent, Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine, and eligibility for a Rhode Island medical license. Salary offered for this position is $245,000 per year [confirm if any salary increases are expected in next 12 months.
