Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated laborer who understands grades. This role involves running string lines, checking grades, shoveling, sweeping, site clean-up, putting up silt fencing, and performing basic construction labor duties.

Responsibilities

  • Run string lines to indicate direction and elevation

  • Check grades

  • Perform shoveling and sweeping tasks

  • Conduct site clean-up

  • Execute basic construction labor duties

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Work Environment

You will be working outside in the elements. Mandatory safety meetings are held at our Calhan, CO shop on Monday mornings at 6AM. Projects are located from Rocky Ford to Fairplay to Denver, starting with a truck stop project in Pueblo. Candidates must be willing to follow the work. Expect 40-hour workweeks with overtime available.

  • Occasionally required to lift, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb or balance.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 to 100 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Calhan, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr.

Most benefits offered will start at the employee's 90 day mark.

Primary Care benefit - (not health insurance, no major medical - covers primary care only) $79/month per person. The employee coverage is paid by Global CM after one year of service. Employees must pay for any dependents.

Life Insurance - term/$150,000 - paid by Global CM.

Retirement - offered through the Colorado SecureSavings program, 5% of gross wages, no company match.

Vacation - one week paid after 1 year of service. two weeks after 2 years of service.

Paid holidays - Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day.

Sick Time - effective upon employment, Colorado standards - 1 hour for every 30 worked, up to a max of 48 hours/year. No carry over.
