As a Senior Analyst, Materials Planning & SIOP our Landing Systems Programs team based in Pueblo, CO; you will be responsible for materials planning to ensure on-time-delivery (OTD) to customers is met while also optimizing inventory levels. You will manage the planning for key programs in Pueblo. In addition, you will “own” the improvement process for better aligned OTD and inventory, such as inventory management for raw material.

You will participate in the supply and production planning process. You will be responsible for making minor changes and/or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness of work area.

What YOU Will Do:

  • Participates in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP

  • Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.

  • Supports the development of indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market trends and demand.

  • May work on projects with program engineers and R&D staff to develop supply strategies.

  • Supports in planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.

  • May work with manufacturing team and participates in the development of monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.

  • Participates in identifying and developing new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability.

  • May be responsible for tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.

  • Supports in the development of processes and plans to improve supply capabilities.

  • Participates in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP

  • Creates and executes plan for every part and maintain master data for purchased parts, sub-assemblies, end items and other parts as required.

  • Executes continuous management of the master demand schedule, including adherence to all required validations using the best information available, in order to provide long range OE and aftermarket demand visibility in support of financial planning, internal and external capacity management, and the overall SI&OP process.

  • Monitors the transportation and delivery of inter/intra-plant parts and outbound finished products.

  • Tracks and manages inter/intra-plant work-in-process (WIP), expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.

  • Conducts cycle-counts for raw materials, finished goods & WIPs.

  • Monitors tracking and shipping.

  • Performs escalated expediting when required to ensure on time delivery of material.

  • Mitigates risks for short term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful customer delivery.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Manufacturing environment

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
