Borough of Punxsutawney Concession Stand Staff in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania
SPLASH (Save Punxsy's Local Area Swimming Hole) is seeking Concession Stand Staff for the George C. Brown Community Pool.

The pool season will be June 1 - August 18.
Responsibilities for Concession Stand Staff
- Opening and closing the concession stand during scheduled hours.
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons for their safety.
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate receipts and sign-in sheets for pass holders and daily swimmers.
- Courteously and efficiently staffs admissions window to admit paying swimmers and pass holders and to answer questions of the public.
- Receives payments for pool admissions and concessions, enters payments into cash register and makes correct change if applicable.
- Answers telephone, takes accurate messages and assists the public as needed.
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service
- Prepares food in a safe and clean manner and maintains a high level of cleanliness and safety with food preparation equipment and dispensers.
- Keeps the concessions area floor, counters and equipment clean and free of clutter.
- Notify pool manager when food items and supplies are running low.
- Perform attached checklist daily
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Pool Manager.
- Able to follow routine verbal and written instructions
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of money and ability to make change with and without cash register.
- Ability to operate cash register and food preparation equipment and dispenser.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Must have ACT 51 & 131 Clearances.
