TITLE: Host/Hostess REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma is required. JOB DUTIES: Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Guide guests to their tables, ensuring efficient table allocation, maintaining an organized seating plan, and providing guests with menus. Answer telephone calls, manage reservations, ensure accurate table assignments, and address special preferences. Maintain an organized waitlist and provide accurate wait time estimates to waiting guests. Communicate with servers to ensure smooth transitions between seating, taking orders, and delivering meals. Keep the host desk and entrance area clean and organized, ensuring a welcoming and inviting ambiance. SALARY: $21,000 per year.
