Actalent Architectural Drafter in QUAKERTOWN, Pennsylvania

Description:
Our client's residential architectural firm specializes in working with production home builders. The team is seeking an Architectural Drafter with experience in residential architecture. This person is an energetic and positive individual who has a strong entrepreneurial mindset. They are looking for someone who is ready to begin their career and grow with them!
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with the Project Manager and Director of Architecture in a mentorship role.
• Work directly with an architectural drafting team to produce complete construction documents for production home builders, including floor plans, elevations and details for new construction of single family and multi-family residential projects.
• Strong critical thinker, identifies and solves problems in a timely manner, works well with a group for common goal solutions, uses common sense and reasoning.
• Naturally self-motivated and self-directed to accurately and thoroughly complete projects.
• Open and willing to make adjustments based on the Director of Architecture's feedback.
• Balances team and individual responsibilities, gives and welcomes feedback.
Skills:
• Architect, AutoCAD, documentation, construction, residential, wood, frame, production
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience specifically in Residential
• Architectural Associates Degree or higher
• Experience working in an Architectural Firm
• Experience taking architectural plans from conceptual design through construction documents.
• Drafting experience this is NOT a design role
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency using AutoCAD Architecture.
