Job Description: Housekeeping for Short-Term Rental

Position Title: Housekeeper

Location: Quechee & Woodstock VT

Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable housekeeper to join our team and maintain our short-term rental properties. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas following the companys standards.
• Change and launder bed linens, towels, and other items as necessary.
• Replenish amenities such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and/or scrub floors.
• Inspect property for any maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately.
• Ensure appliances and equipment are in good working order.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with property managers and other team members.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to follow instructions and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in housekeeping for hotels, resorts, or short-term rentals.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
