Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)Location: Quincy, MASchool Year: 2024-2025Overview:

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a role supporting our partnering school in Quincy, MA for the 2024-25 school year. This role involves working with PreK students, supporting Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), and managing a mixed caseload. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to SLPs in PreK settings, working with half-day and full-day PreK students.

  • Manage a mixed caseload, offering speech and language services tailored to individual student needs.

  • Collaborate with SLPs to implement therapy plans and monitor student progress.

  • Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and documentation of sessions.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Work Schedule:

  • Dates: September 3, 2024 - June 20, 2025

  • Hours: 7:35 AM - 1:50 PM

  • Weekly Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.

  • Valid SLPA License.

  • At least one year of prior experience is highly preferred.
