JLBC Community Alliance, Inc Bus Driver in Raleigh, North Carolina

The JLBC Community Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is seeking experienced drivers to support our summer program for youth K-12th grade.

25 Passenger Minibus: Drivers must be a licensed CDL holder with a minimum classification P endorsement, zero license points in the past three years, and no drug or alcohol violations in the last 10 years. We would prefer applicants with at least 3 years of experience. Responsibilities include compliance with safety procedures and general interior cleanup of the vehicle.

Expectations JLBC Community Alliance has several opportunities for which an experienced driver with a CDL with a Passenger classification is needed.We have an immediate opening to complete the spring semester. Hoping applicants will be available to continue into the summer.

During spring and fall semesters, the 25-passenger bus picks up youth program participants ages 5 through 18 years of age from their base schools and delivers them to our program site at 9109 Sauls Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.Driving time is approximately from 1:30 to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday and includes general bus clean up and preparation for the following day.

During the summer (begins June 24th and ends August 16th, our program operation is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM . Drivers hours are only from 8 to 1:00 PM picking up staff and vehicles at 8:00 AM, picking up program participants at designated express locations, and transporting the staff and participants to planned activities. Most activity sites are within Wake County, but occasionally the activities are planned outside of the County within an hour to 2-hour range. Youth are then returned to our site by 1:00 PM. There is an afternoon shift that covers the return trip for the students on an Express Route from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
