Job Title: 2nd Shift CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd shift CNC Machinist to join our team in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. The working hours are from 2:15pm-10:30pm, with a competitive pay rate of $30-$45 per hour. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machines, such as lathes and mills, to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces according to specifications. Your duties will include lathe work, mill work, accurate set up and operation of CNC machines, working without supervision, assisting less experienced employees, proving out program and tooling, working from prints, sketches, process sheets, layouts, templates and verbal instructions, checking CNC programs for errors and editing them, creating your own programs when necessary, consulting with programmers, and measuring and adjusting machine parts.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to work without supervision

  • Assisting employees in job classifications of lesser skill levels
