Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an SAP BW on Hana Consultant for one of our customers in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a techno-functional role that will be supporting a larger project. This person will be very hands on with their time spent across communicating with the business/building test cases, creating the technical designs, providing production support, and doing the hands on development of new enhancements. The ideal candidate should have worked on complex HANA view modelling with SAP and non-SAP sources. He/she should be a critical thinker with strong problem solving skills in a complex environment. They must also have strong data background and must know when and where to use appropriate data; recognize when data is misleading, misrepresented, or incomplete; effectively create, read and interpret charts, and graphs; and employ "data storytelling" techniques when talking with people who lack data literacy skills.

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years' experience working on end-to-end projects developing Corporate Reporting and Analytics

• 5+ years SAP BW on HANA experience including Extraction, Modeling, and Query design with strong emphasis in solutions for SAP FICO, CATS, Procurement

• 3+ years of ABAP experience (related to BW)

• Sound Technical Knowledge in Business Warehouse (BW 7. 5), HANA 2.0 and Business Explorer and Business object Lumira designer

• Should have strong BW and HANA modelling skills and experience in generating complex data models with hybrid modelling and LSA++ environment

• Experience building HANA views including scripted calculations, understand SQL and experience writing complex stored procedures / script - Knowledge of HANA Smart Data Access (SDA) is a plus.

• Experience with data extraction to SAP BW via REST API is a plus.

• Experience in Power BI and Tableau is a plus. null
