Manufacturing Systems Standards Global Lead

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain global manufacturing systems and data standards for DePuy Synthes Joints platform, part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, which has manufacturing sites in Raynham & Bridgewater MA USA, Warsaw IN USA, Cork Ireland, Blackpool UK, Leeds UK, Suzhou China, and a new site under construction in Costa Rica.

  • Collaborate with teams from different departments to identify effective strategies and ensure consistent implementation of standards.

  • Lead the evaluation and selection of manufacturing systems and technologies, aiming for continuous improvement and efficiency, systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), DNC, OEE, Automation Network, OSI PI, Cybersecurity; this list will evolve as technologies develop.

  • Provide guidance and support to manufacturing sites worldwide, promoting adherence to standards and driving exceptional operational performance.

  • Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing systems, incorporating relevant changes into our standards.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience with 10 years in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on systems and standards.

  • Minimum of 4 years of People Management Experience leading technical teams.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.

  • Knowledge of industry standard, guideline and methodologies (ISA 88/95, GAMP)

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, capable of fostering effective collaboration within diverse teams.

  • Ambitious and driven to achieve excellence in all aspects of manufacturing.

Other:

  • This position will require up to 10% travel.

  • This position is Fully Onsite

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
