Aerotek Welder in Red Bud, Illinois

Aerotek is currently seeking candidates with any level of MIG welding experience for a long-term career with a manufacturing company in Southern Illinois. No formal welding certification/education is required.

Job Description

  • Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

  • Utilize welding equipment to make repairs to discontinuities of submerged arc weld seams on steel pipe.

  • In addition to welding tasks, responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organizing the work area.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Work Environment

  • Non-climate controlled, industrial setting.

Work shifts available include Monday-Thursday (Overtime on Friday & Saturday as needed. ) from 5am-3:30pm and 3pm-1:30am, and weekend shifts from 5am-5:30pm with compensation for 40 hours despite working 36 hours.
