MICROSOFT CORP Business Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

Job Description: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects. Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.   

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in business management, operational management, and centralized and coordinated project management. *               *
  • *Specific Skill Requirements: *This position requires at least 24 months of experience in: Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; Process improvement; and Stakeholder management; at least 12 months of experience in: Reporting; and at least 6 months of experience in: Data analysis; Business transformation; and Change management. *         *

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code TSCBP17056B), in Redmond, WA, is $122,530 to $152,530.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
