MICROSOFT CORP Business Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

Job Description: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Work closely with the program management teams regarding work processes and requirements Engage with Leadership Team to understand performance management requirements and streamline & enhance the existing reporting suite in partnership with the central BI team. Work with the program management team on guidelines, audit, and quality processes. Utilize analytical skills with business knowledge/expertise to identify the drivers/ root causes of problems, including the identification and quantification of business improvement opportunities. Deliver actionable and timely insights and recommendations across multiple business lines within Annotation operations to drive continuous improvement. Conduct data analysis and prepare presentations to support ROB for annotation operations. Will be responsible for extracting data from multiple sources, tabulating data/data validation, conducting Root Cause Analysis, developing business/operational solutions/recommendations. Perform quality evaluation of results produced by different sources. Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned MSFT office location. The employee will assess, evaluate, and improve processes, business lines, and operations related to Data Annotation, Machine Learning and Human Moderation, as well as Artificial Intelligence Operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12 months of experience in any project management related occupation.
  • Alternative Requirements: In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept two additional years of experience in any project management related occupation. * *
  • Specific Skill Requirements: This position requires education or experience in: Defining processes and guidelines; Transcription or annotation review; Data mining; Data analytics; Linguistics or computational linguistics; and Language technology, including speech.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code TSBRS17607), in Redmond, WA, is $108,243 to $138,243.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
