Description Principal IS Supply Chain Service Engineer supports the Supply Chain process for caregiver devices and peripherals, including obtaining quotes, all warranty repairs, replacements and loaner device distribution. Leverages ServiceNow and Oracle to obtain source of truth information. Serves as the primary point of support to resolve incidents and other issues for fulfillment requests. Must deliver timely and accurate information, support and services to all caregivers while maintaining a focus on a positive customer service experience. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent educ/experience. 8 years Related experience; more preferred. Strong experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes. Strong experience with n-tier solutions. Strong experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually). Strong experience influencing engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations. Strong experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site requirements. Strong experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Strong experience in advanced problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis. Preferred Qualifications: Advises on employee (caregiver), business, and IS equipment. Uses expertise to evaluate orders and invoices with the ability to work with vendors to obtain quotes from preferred suppliers that meet compliance standards and KPIs, such as quality, cost, and caregiver expectation. As stewards of PSJH technical resources, identify areas of risk and ensure the proper and timely management of warranty submissions, quotes, orders/order receiving, invoices, and other related team functions. Ensure purchases are in compliance with established standards. Ensure the timely communication of any changes that can impact the delivery of products and services. Understands and adheres to quality assurance and KPIs with daily review and mitigation of KPI and SLA requirements and contribution to monthly operational service reviews. Demonstrated ability in all procurement functional and system processes, including the ability to use internal tools to evaluate orders, process requisitions and invoice review as needed. Demonstrated knowledge and administration of vendor management policies and procedures. Accounting/procurement knowledge, including purchasing, internal audit, and inventory control principles where applicable. Ability to work with internal teams to develop business decisions. Uses professional knowledge and independent judgment in making decisions or recommending a course of action. Good interpersonal skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
