About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Multiple positions (also from other Directorates) may be filled from this vacancy. Responsibilities Manage of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics programs. Review, analyze and execute program activities. Plan and conduct program level meeting to include working groups and program management reviews. Maintain production status for deliveries to keep stakeholders apprised of interface problems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: executing the requirements of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs and Cases which include logistics management, program management, financial management and reviews to identify problems, necessary resource adjustments, or program schedule revisions and adjustments; coordinating short and long range international program execution plans; and assuring appropriate utilization of foreign customer funds. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a Logistics Career Field position.
