Our Scientist will be based in our Research and Development center in Rehovot, Israel in which an independent work combined with a team relation is a much appreciated. As a Scientist, you are responsible for the development and characterization of reagent chemistry processes ( like antigen development, antibody development, protein purification and characterization). You participate in design and execution of experiments, daily activities, and coordinate work activities through collaboration with technical experts, management team and project leads. You will be a part of the Immunoassay Reagent Development group and report to the Manager Development Science! Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Participating in a protein biochemistry/protein engineering team, in collaboration with diverse groups within R&D globally

  • Driven hands-on work in a protein biochemistry laboratory work

  • Implementing and performing analytical SEC methods using HPLC/UPLC

  • Independent exploration of research questions, including literature searches and project development

  • Supporting the implementation of new technologies and methodologies in the laboratory,

  • Communicating project status and experimental data with cross-functional teams, at all levels and across different locations

  • Participating in technical discussions and decision-making processes

    Main requirements:

  • Degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or medical related sciences) and 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in protein biochemistry, protein purification and characterization methods

  • Knowledge in recombinant technology/microbiology and cloning methodologies is an advantage

  • Team player with good interpersonal skills

  • Excellent level of English
