This position is a supervisory position that would be responsible for the seamless integration of various sub-systems into the overall technical project. They will be looking over operations, testing and cost to manufacturing, assessment, and disposal, ensuring the most efficient process. This position will need to not only have a firm grasp on essential engineering fundamentals, but also business fundamentals to explain how proposed changes could affect profitability and other financial and business factors.

Role and Responsibilities

• Combining various designs, blueprints and schematics into one overall schematic.
• Ability to understand system relationships and create improved processes and systems to improve efficiency.
• Ability to communicate team members system relationships so they are easily understood to facilitate troubleshooting, rebuilds, or production.
• Defines customers' needs and functionality in a cycle.
• Evaluates the existing systems and provides recommendations based on observations in production and the field.
• Mentor and train other engineers in the company and seek to continually improve processes company wide.
• Provide clear goals for all areas of a project and steps to oversee the completion of these goals.
• Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower, and time necessary.
• Assist with practical demonstrations of proposed solutions to present to other members of the team.
• Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, employees occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or in outside weather conditions.
• Employees are occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals
• Noise level in the work environment is usually noisy.
