As an Electrical Engineer III at International Game Technology, you will engage in various electrical engineering design projects, contributing significantly to the achievements of IGT’s Electrical Engineering department. Your responsibilities will span from conceptual design to design capture, layout, prototype development, testing, debugging, and final design release. You will conduct technical analyses to design the desired electronics functionality for several products and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This includes working on circuit board design, PCB layout, product modifications and fixes, and product enhancements. Additionally, you may lead projects, driving innovation and excellence in IGT’s product offerings.

  • Develop robust electrical engineering/technical solutions and designs that adhere to design specifications.

  • Perform in-depth technical analyses to design the desired functionality of electronic systems for multiple products or systems.

  • Take on leadership roles for various engineering projects as needed.

  • Forecast future product features and functionalities during the development of electrical engineering/technical solutions and designs.

  • Provide insights and contributions to the development of electrical engineering standards.

  • Engage in discussions and decision-making processes for design modifications.

  • Collaborate across departments within IGT to ensure alignment of product designs and project objectives.

  • Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure alignment of product designs with project objectives and regulatory standards.

  • Communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Mentor and serve as a technical resource and design critic to less senior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

  • 5-8 years of experience in technical circuit and product design

  • In-depth knowledge/skills in the content areas of:

  • Electronics design

  • Circuit design

  • PCB layout

  • Embedded controls

  • Programmable logic

  • Emissions

  • Proficiency in multiple relevant engineering design tools and design flow

  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $72,600/yr - $105,600/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
