Providence St. Joseph Health Principal Engineering Product Manager IS in Renton, Washington

Description The Principal Engineer Product Manager role is both broad, across a business unit and deep, in terms of technical, process and continuous improvement required to run and maintain an enterprise wide IS service. This role is both enterprise in nature and startup in mindset. This role works in a fast paced, evolving environment, have with constant demands for better services. It requires strong problem resolution, decision making, communication and partnering skills. This role requires someone to be both a leader and teacher a coach as we continue to advance to cutting edge, innovative mindset, and skill set to the organization. It requires a leader that thrives through creating a vision, building consensus, and driving teams towards results. You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus resource and technical constraints. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline. 12 years of equivalent work experience. Coursework/Training: Training in product development, change management or operational improvement methodologies. Ten or more years: Product management/development or equivalent experience and a record of successful product delivery, with a minimum of 2 new products (or substantial redesigns/upgrades) launched during this timeframe. Ten or more years: Hands-on experience with Interoperability tools, data aggregation platforms, Product Management App, integration engines and languages: HL7, IHE, APIs, XML, HTML5, .Net, or other similar tools. Familiarity with SQL, eMPI, Analytics and UI and UX tools. Eight years: Experience working with healthcare data and healthcare operations. Presentation and facilitation experience to both technical and business/operations audience. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree: Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline. Ten or more years: HIE/Interoperability experience. Successful track records of working with agile teams. Experience as a supervisor or manager of people. Why Join Providence?
