In this multifaceted role with PACCAR Parts, you'll be at the forefront of developing and managing engaging dealer training content that empowers participants and enhances their skills. You will be responsible for planning and executing impactful training events, managing the creation and distribution of high-quality instructional materials, and utilizing feedback to drive continuous improvement. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, and team members. This position requires travel and is heavily weighted to the first quarter of the year. Job Functions / Responsibilities Event or Class Planning and Management (70%) o Plan, organize, and execute training events, conferences, and workshops. o Coordinate logistics including venue selection, scheduling, registration, and participant materials distribution. o Liaise with vendors, speakers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations. o Oversee on-site event management, including set-up, execution, and teardown. o Manage budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective event execution. o Develop contingency plans to handle unexpected issues during events. Content Development and Management (25%) o Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging and relevant training content. o Ensure training materials are up-to-date and aligned with organizational goals and industry standards. o Manage the creation of presentation materials, handouts, and digital content. o Utilize feedback and analytics to continuously improve training content. o Innovate and implement new methods of content delivery to enhance learning experiences. o Ensure that all content is compliant with applicable regulations and best practices in instructional design. Feedback Management (5%) o Collect, analyze, and report on feedback from event participants. o Implement improvements based on feedback to enhance future training sessions. o Maintain records of participant feedback and follow up on identified areas of improvement. o Develop and administer post-event surveys and evaluations to gather comprehensive feedback. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field required. Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience required. Proven experience in both event planning/management and content development, preferably in a training or educational setting. Familiarity with feedback collection and analysis methods. Ability to travel as needed for event execution. Certification in event planning (e.g., CMP) is a plus or instructional design (e.g., CPTD, APTD) Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and manage multiple events and content projects simultaneously. Proficiency in event management software like Cvent and content development tools like Storyline 360, Rise 360, and Camtasia. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Analytical skills to assess and improve training content based on feedback and performance metrics.
