The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for assisting the corporate accounting department.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for ensuring high volume receipts processing is completed accurately and timely, to include settlement funds, purchaser deposits and other misc. receipts
Record various journal entries each day (HUDs)
Research and resolve problem receipts with appropriate departments
Download and save reports from the accounting system
Act as point of contact for division inquiries, to include preparation of written communications and associated files
Represent the company professionally in all internal and external interactions and communications
Complete all other duties as assigned by manager
Adhere to company safety standards and help promote a safe working environment

Position Requirements
College degree preferred
Accounting experience required
Home-building experience a plus
