(HYBRID) Billing Analyst

  • Costpoint experience

  • 3+ years of Gov Con Billing

  • Contract knowledge (FFP, CPFF, T&M)

Job Description:

As a Billing Analyst, your primary responsibilities will be to prepare and review complex monthly invoices according to our company guidelines. You will utilize financial reports to ensure compliance with deliverable deadlines for federal government contract types such as Cost Type, Time & Material (T&M), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) with CLIN/SLIN/ACRN structure. You will be tasked with resolving complex invoicing issues that arise due to unique billing requirements, project adjustments, or system issues. This also includes submitting invoices through Government Web-based invoicing systems and maintaining cross-functional team relationships. You will also analyze unbilled receivables monthly against standard Costpoint reports and unapplied cash, and work as an integral team member to lower overall billing cycle times. Furthermore, you will assist in implementing processes and procedures that improve efficiency and strengthen internal control. Finally, you will handle a variety of internal and external customer inquiries concerning billing status and initiate communications to resolve billing discrepancies and collection issues. Ad-hoc reporting and support for particular projects as needed will also be part of your role.
