NVR is looking for a talented Help Desk Technician to work on-site in our Reston, VA HQ Office. In this role, you will work independently and with a team to support the software and hardware needs of NVR. Your penchant for great service and your problem-solving skills makes you a technical support mainstay.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional first-level technical support to NVR team members.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

  • Identify, prioritize, and escalate support tickets.

  • Monitor the network.

  • Assist the IT Services team with hardware and software deployment.

  • Support IT initiatives to improve the end-user experience.

    Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of IT experience.

  • Experience with a Help Desk technical support team.

  • Hardware experience with Dell and Lenovo.

  • Experience installing and supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 2016 programs; Microsoft Certification preferred.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
