NVR is looking for a talented Help Desk Technician to work on-site in our Reston, VA HQ Office. In this role, you will work independently and with a team to support the software and hardware needs of NVR. Your penchant for great service and your problem-solving skills makes you a technical support mainstay.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional first-level technical support to NVR team members.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Identify, prioritize, and escalate support tickets.
Monitor the network.
Assist the IT Services team with hardware and software deployment.
Support IT initiatives to improve the end-user experience.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of IT experience.
Experience with a Help Desk technical support team.
Hardware experience with Dell and Lenovo.
Experience installing and supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 2016 programs; Microsoft Certification preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
