Noblis Junior ISO9001 Quality Management System Coordinator in Reston, Virginia

Noblis is seeking a highly motivited individual to assist in helping the organization maintain the highest quality standards. This role will play a critical part in helping maintain key corporate credentials, including ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO20000-1 and CMMI Level 3 for development. This role will also help organize and manage the company's policies, procedures, guidelines, work instructions and forms. Get ready to sprint!!! Specifically, this role will:

  • Perform a thorough review to organize and consolidate current Corporate Policies and Procedures, work instructions, guidelines and forms while maintaining ISO and CMMI compliance.

  • Assist the quality team to own organizational responsibilities for the completion and satisfaction of all quality-related requirements to ensure Noblis successfully maintains its corporate quality credentials.

  • Partners with senior leadership across the organization to establish quality objectives, measure and monitor those objectives and provide real-time feedback to key stakeholders.

  • Manages and administers the corporate Quality Management System, ensuring all documents remain up-to-date and comply with ISO and CMMI requirements.

  • Lead and perform analysis of quality metrics and analytics outputs to identify key issues, trends, and potential root causes that point to improvement opportunities.

  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations to the Senior Management team about process/improvements, process controls, data analysis, continuous improvement, corrective actions, and other topics as requested.

  • Perform and coordinate internal program audits as required by ISO certifications

  • Prepare and train program team members on the processes and requirements for the internal and external audits.

  • Coordinate the schedules for Noblis program team members who will support the internal and external audits.

  • Schedule, respond, and coordinate external annual audits with registrars, appraisers, and regulatory agencies.

  • Track, respond and facilitate the resolution and closure of any corrective action requests, including internal and customer-driven corrective actions.

  • Ensure and track the annual reviews of policies that are conducted by each program team/owning area

A professionals in ISO compliance is responsible for ensuring that organizations adhere to standards set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in various areas such as quality management, information security, environmental management, and occupational health and safety. They utilize their expertise in ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems to develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs that align with organizational goals and objectives. Typical responsibilities include conducting gap assessments and audits to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement, developing policies, procedures, and documentation to meet ISO requirements, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of compliance measures. ISO compliance roles also involve providing training and education to employees on ISO standards and requirements, monitoring and measuring compliance performance, and reporting on compliance status to management and external auditors. Additionally, professionals may assist with the certification process, liaise with certification bodies, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational performance and competitiveness. Their expertise in areas such as risk management, process improvement, and regulatory compliance enables organizations to achieve and maintain ISO certification, demonstrate commitment to quality and excellence, and enhance customer satisfaction and trust.

You solve a variety of structured problems by applying professional standards and Noblis concepts and methodologies. You have deep knowledge of a particular area and a general awareness of other areas. Working independently with general instruction, you apply intermediate skills to deliver high quality work products and services to support projects. You are responsible for planning and managing project deliverables and engaging in open-minded interactions with clients and coworkers to deliver results. You are also responsible for expanding your capabilities in your current work and leveraging opportunities to grow through interactions across the organization.

This position will be required to report to the Noblis Corporate Headquarters in Reston, VA for an average of 2-3 times per month.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor degree with at least three years of documented experience with ISO9001 quality standards, or a master's degree and one year of experience.

  • Ability to obtain a ISO9001 Lead Auditor certification within the first 6 months of employment.

  • Experience with SharePoint, Office365, and QMS

  • Knowledge and experience with quality management principles and techniques.

  • Ability to analyze, define, improve, and document business processes.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Note: While this position is primarily a telework position, in-person attendance for certification audits and as-needed other corporate-required meetings, is mandatory. This position will be required to report to the Noblis Corporate Headquarters in Reston, VA for an average of 2-3 times per month.

Desired Qualifications

  • ISO9001 Lead Auditor Certification.

  • Experience with and/or certifications for ISO20000, ISO27001, and CMMI v3.0 Level 3 for Development.

  • Experience working with Federal Government and/or Federal Government Contractors.

  • Experience working with and presenting to senior-level management teams.

  • Understanding of, or the ability to obtain knowledge of DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and the capabilities within the DORA capability catalog .

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to align policies with organizational goals and regulatory requirements, ensuring clarity and consistency.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

USD $61,600.00 - USD $107,800.00 /Yr.
