What You Will Do
Install, maintain, and repair all types of plumbing equipment and piping at the Richardson, TX facility.
Weld, solder, and braze.
Install, troubleshoot, modify, and repair a wide variety of plumbing fixtures, valves, heat exchangers, etc.
Improvise in emergencies and modify equipment for special purposes in the absence of drawings or precedents.
Act quickly and decisively to avoid damage to plant and equipment and to prevent production delays.
Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly and handle heavier components/items on an occasional basis.
Requires stooping, bending, and working in awkward positions. Will frequently work while standing on ladders and scaffolds.
Maintain necessary records including time keeping records, construction as-built drawings, preventative maintenance, etc.
This position is an onsite role.
Qualifications You Must Have
High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
Current Texas Plumber Journeyman license with a minimum of 4 years experience.
Experience installing, troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing a wide variety of plumbing equipment such as water heaters, toilets, sinks, eyewash stations, etc.
Experience constructing, installing, modifying, and repairing various types of city water distribution.
Must have a valid driver’s license to drive around site.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top-Secret security clearance with C/I Poly. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
