Responsibilities:
Investigate failure modes for electro deposition processes to understand root causes; drive counter measures to fix
Drive electro deposition process set-ups to ensure robust interconnects
Research, evaluate, characterize, qualify, and adopt new materials in process and product development work to deliver robust process
Work closely with technology and process development teams to understand the needs and help deliver them
Collaborate with Universities and Research Institutes to solve issues and test new materials
Position may require travel to other Qorvo or vendor sites to support the work
Work schedule: Sunday through Thursday; Day Shift
Qualifications:
MS or PhD in Electrochemistry, Chemical, Material Science Engineering, Chemistry, Physics
2+ years of hands-on experience in electro deposition in process set-up, troubleshooting; Recent college grads with background in electrochemistry are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of electro and electroless deposition, wet chemistry processes is a strong plus
Proficient in semiconductor measurement and analysis techniques such as SEM, AFM, SIMS, XPS, STEM
Self-starter with good communication skills
Data analysis and programming skills to aid data mining
Position will demand large amounts of time working in a clean room environment; Some lifting and standing will be required
