JOB SUMMARY

Located in the Telecom Corridor at Richardson, our Lifestyle Hotel features 335 spacious guest rooms with 42 suites. Salary: $50,000-$60,000; depending on experience.

We are looking for a highly engaging and motivated individual with experience in driving sales for hotels or resorts to join our team as a Sales Manager. This role is a key position that will be responsible proactively soliciting room revenue and increasing production of existing special corporate/preferred accounts.

Actively up-sells to maximize revenue opportunities. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Responsible for driving customer & guest loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer/guest experience. Provides service to customers to continue to grow the account.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales goals, be creative, a problem solver, has a proven record of being a team player, is open to learning and leading by example, responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team.

  • Prepare and execute sales contracts, event orders, group resumes to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate all function details with clients to include but not limited to space requirements, meeting times, equipment, menus, billing, etc

JOB REQUIREMENTS

What do we look for in someone to be successful in this role?

  • 1-2 years of experience in Event Services, Banquet, Hotel Sales, Marketing or equivalent education and experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or 2+ years of college or 2+ years in a sales& marketing, front office, or other supervisory position

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Delphi, FDC, and/or Marriott CI/TY

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
