job summary:

Our Semiconductor client located in Texas is looking for a Semiconductor Product Engineer. The Semiconductor Product Engineer should be able understand the client and/or project technical and schedule needs and work internally to develop high confidence product test plan and execute on the developed plan for semiconductor and electronic systems. A well-architected product test plan delivers high quality and efficient test solutions. Test solution consists of hardware development, software development, test solution debug and release to production.

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Must have 5-8 years of experience product engineering in mixed signal, analog or Digital IC products

  • Quickly identify problems encountered during qualifications on IC products and timely develop creative solutions. Experience with Electrical FA for resolution of reliability fails.

  • Required to understand Reliability stresses including HTOL (high temp operating life; burn-in), HTSL (high temp storage life; Bake), Temp Cycle, ESD, Latch-up, and Biased HAST, among others.

  • Lead a project team to deliver high quality test solutions.

  • Responsible for developing test plan for projects.

  • Comprehend the project requirements and identify and communicate with the customer all the key milestones.

  • Responsible to break down milestones into tasks and actions and ensure that they are executed in a timely manner.

  • Manage projects using customer project management flow.

  • Responsible for working directly with client and ensuring client satisfaction on all aspects of the projects
