The Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) Business Operations team is seeking a self-directed Financial Analyst that works well in a team environment with a strong willingness to mentor others. As an analyst on our team, we will depend on your sound judgement and strong organizational skills to effectively manage and lead multiple internal and external audit activities, including overseeing subcontract audits. A day in the life of a Financial Analyst may involve, but not limited to: * Primary accounting liaison for internal and external audits. * Supports annual incurred cost submission. * Oversee completion of all audit plan activities. * Resolve internal control deficiencies and findings. * Provide comprehensive and timely support, justifications, and responses to auditors. * Facilitate and implement audit corrective actions. * Track and report issues, challenges, and progress. * Backup DOE invoicing and other monthly accounting ledger activities. * Recommend and implement business system enhancements to strengthen company reporting and internal controls. * Ensure all accounting entries company with GAAP, SOX, CAS, FAR, and FTR. * Develop and execute an annual Subcontract Audit Plan based on cost analysis and risk assessment procedures. * Oversee subcontract audits performed by independent third-party auditors. Activities include preparation of the Statement of Work (SOW), performing the technical evaluation of proposals received, establishing deadlines and deliverables, and reviewing the final audit reports for compliance to GAGAS, FAR, DEAR, GAAP, CAS, and subcontract terms and conditions. * Interface and provide status updates to internal and external customers, including the Department of Energy. * Prepare contract deliverables in accordance with prime contract requirements. * Other duties as assigned by manager. Basic Qualifications * Senior Level Grade 18: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8 or more years of relevant experience. * Principal Level Grade 20: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 10 or more years of relevant experience. The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
