Job Description Summary
As Quality Manager you will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for Power Cell Programs. You will coordinate a Quality Team to lead improvement in key quality metrics and adherence to the Quality System, with focus on Customer satisfaction. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Prioritize and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, as part of a multi-functional team, to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity
Analyze production and service limitations, then develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques to track the progress of improvement efforts
Preparing, implementing, and guide quality assurance policies and procedure
Define and implement continuous improvement plans at Company level
Work with New Product development teams to approve new suppliers of materials/ services used in product realization; work with Sustaining Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve quality issues related to existing suppliers
Conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools
Develop, implement and coordinate product quality assurance programs to prevent or eliminate new or existing product defects through the Quality team
Manage Non-conformities and Safety issues and facilitate problem solving during project execution phase to reduce the costs of non-quality
Provide advanced quality engineering of new product introduction involving new processes or advanced automated equipment
Select, hire, train and provide ongoing leadership of assigned personnel to meet schedules, quality and measurements, and organizational goals
Manage organization’s cost superiority and investment program and compile and report all organization measurements on quality and cost
Qualifications/Requirements
Proven experience in a manufacturing / quality role in the aeronautical field
Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Strong organizational skills
Good communications skills and teamwork spirit
English and Italian fluent
Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required.
