Golf Course Maintenance Worker Location: River Bend Golf Course and Country Club, New Bern, NC
Job Type:Full-Time(preferred)/Part-Time(for the right candidate)

We are seeking a dedicated Golf Course Maintenance Worker to join our team and help us continue providing an exceptional golfing environment. Job Summary: The Golf Course Maintenance Worker is responsible for assisting in the upkeep and enhancement of the golf course and surrounding landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily maintenance of the golf course, including mowing, trimming, and edging fairways, greens, and roughs.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mulching, planting, and pruning trees and shrubs.
- Help in the preparation and maintenance of sand bunkers.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely, including lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Participate in the aeration, seeding, and fertilization of the golf course.
- Monitor the health of the golf course and report any issues such as disease, insects, or undesirable conditions.
- Assist with the setup of the course for daily play, which includes setting tee markers and moving hole locations to ensure an enjoyable experience for golfers.
- Work collaboratively with the golf course maintenance team to implement special projects and improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in landscaping or golf course maintenance is highly preferred.
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery. THIS MUST INCLUDE COMMERCIAL MOWERS, CHAINSAWS and OTHER COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
