What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and maintain updated the portfolio level technical guidelines to assess the economic/financial viability of LREID projects, covering, for example, but not limited to:
• Program scheduling and stage gate definition
• Contracting and procurement strategy (incl. commercials)
• Constructability and Construction Projects Risk Management
Support, when appropriate and in collaboration with Technical Leads, the implementation of the above guidelines in each Project, also applying the Project Management Cold eye review
Intervene, when appropriate and in collaboration with Technical Leads within PM teams, in projects under execution to identify reasons for delay and drive turnaround initiatives
Define the standard PIF contractual parameters (from a business perspectives), covering for example but not limited to e.g., structural/civil/MEP/ façade, testing and certification)
Continuously consolidate feedback from LREID projects on construction technologies
Consolidate data and feedback from portfolio on project management vendor (including but not limited to) performance to create a CoE vendor database
Support throughout the tender and vendor appointment process for construction, covering for example but not limited
Initial due diligence for vendors
Participation in Tender Committee
Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
Responsible for the development and distribution of a program summary to all members of the project team for reference.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business field
15+ years of related work experience is required and previous project management experience on similar or related projects
Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements
Familiarity with the integration of engineering/technical aspects, as well as procurement and construction activities
Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
Knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects
