Revlon Manager, Enterprise Data in Roanoke, Virginia

Description

The Manager of Enterprise Data will report to the Sr, Manager of Enterprise Data and will collaborate across key functional domains and business lines as it relates to master data.

Job Purpose

The Manager of Enterprise Data is responsible for the supervision of Revlon’s master data systems and manages the Enterprise Data team’s activities associated with the entry and maintenance of Global Customer and Item Master. This position will provide support for Global Vendor Maintenance and ensure process controls are developed and executed to ensure the timely entry of master file information and its data integrity. The Manager of Enterprise Data is also responsible for Data Synchronization activities with applications utilizing Master Data, working with IT, Security, and Business Partners.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works with business partners and external vendors to ensure the timely entry and accuracy of item, customer, and vendor master information to prevent delays and issues with business functions such as shipping and/or inaccurate reporting.

  • Develop, implement, and document procedures for effective data management.

  • Lead process improvements via automation and simplification.

  • Regularly monitor and evaluate data that could affect analytical results.

  • Continually develop data management strategies.

  • Guarantee adherence to Company’s Legal and Compliance Regulations.

  • Effectively lead and promote team members to improve processes by cross training and involvement in strategic projects.

  • Ensure coverage for business partners globally.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in data management and analytics.

  • An analytical mindset with superb communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms.

  • Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes, and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business lines.

  • Proven data literacy — the ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources and management concepts, and analytical approaches/options.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Information strategy experience; experience in strategic technology planning and execution, along with policy development and maintenance.

  • Analytics skills: outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
