Compensation: $29.25 - $33.75, per hour BOE. Pay in lieu also available. Shift Details: Day shift M-F, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Flexible), every third weekend required. The Nurse Manger is responsible for the coordination, organization, implementing, and review of the nursing services provided to each resident on a 24-hour basis. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. 2. Current CPR Certification. 3. Experience as an LPN demonstrating potential administrative and management competence. 4. Possesses adequate strength, endurance and coordination to meet the physical demands of such resident care responsibilities as administering medications and performing treatments. 5. Effective communicator with staff, families, Physicians/Providers and outside agencies. 6. Ability to prioritize duties. 7. Customer service oriented with knowledge of successful customer service techniques. 8. Ability to understand residents' charts, doctor's orders, residents' plan of care, medication orders. 9. Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation. 10. Understanding of Antibiotic Stewardship, Infection Prevention and Infection Control and OSHA guidelines. 11. Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements for Long Term Care. Understands and follows the states scope of practice and notifies RN as required and PRN. 12. Able to handle stressful situations. Able and willing to work flexible hours. Performs the functions of a Licensed Practical Nurse in monitoring, organizing, implementing and reviewing the resident care in assigned area. 2. Monitors and appraises work performance of nursing personnel in assigned area in resident care, staff relations and efficiency of service. 3. Assists in collection of data on the health status of the resident, including attention to individual characteristics. 4. Recommends appropriate nursing interventions. 5. Assigns resident care to nursing assistants. 6. Documents clearly, legibly and accurately the nursing care that is provided. 7. Monitors resident's condition and response to focused interventions; reports significant changes to appropriate designated RN. Completes change of condition appearance and utilizes indirect are paths and resident change of coordinators. 8. Reports significant changes in resident status to designated RN in a timely manner. 9. Gives direct resident care. 10. Administers prescribed medications.
