Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Rochester, New York. The role requires an organized and detail-oriented individual to function as an Accounting Clerk in our team. The role primarily involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve customer credit inquiries
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect overdue payments
• Perform account reconciliation tasks on a regular basis
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations effectively
• Handle billing duties and data entry tasks
• Process invoices using various software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
• Ensure all accounting tasks are performed in compliance with the industry's best practices and the company's policies. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of Billing procedures
• Proficiency in Data Entry
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Oracle software
• Experience in using QuickBooks
• Familiarity with SAP
• Proven ability to maintain accurate financial records and data
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and accounting best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
