Orville's Home Appliances Full Time Salesperson in Rochester, New York

Position Summary:

This position will assist consumers in the selection of products through demonstrated, direct sales methods. Basic clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and cleaning will also be required.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Welcome customers and offer assistance in selecting the products that fit their needs.

  • Provide information on products, delivery, and services Orville’s Appliances, Inc. offers.

  • Utilize the CRM tool, Tyler, in order to document and track customer purchases.

  • Finalize customer sales and all aspects post-purchase, including setting up delivery and installation as well as following with customer.

  • Assist in maintaining a neat, clean and organized store.

  • Processing of payments through a variety of options, including in-store financing.

  • Tracking of inventory and restocking store as necessary.

  • Any and all other duties as assigned by management.

Position Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma OR GED Equivalent

  • No previous experience required.

  • Prior experience utilizing CRM software.

Position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and other similar tools.

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.

  • Ability to work as a team member, maintaining a positive attitude toward customers and coworkers.

  • Friendly, helpful, reliable, and excellent follow-through.

  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills, good verbal communication, general math skills, and product knowledge.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to reach monthly sales quotas.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up products upwards to 100lbs as well as prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
